J. Marsicano and F. Cioffi Memorial Candlewood Lake Clean Up
May 18, 2019
1999 marked the first John Marsicano Memorial Candlewood Lake Clean Up. Since that time volunteers have collected literally tons and tons of debris from the shoreline and bottom of Candlewood Lake (courtesy of our volunteer divers).
Some volunteers are Clean Up Boat Captains, and offer to transport others with their boats while other volunteers offer their assistance in collecting debris.
Clean Up Crews depart from the five town parks in the morning to collect debris from the shoreline of the Lake for a few hours.
This popular event concludes around mid-day, followed by a cookout donated by area restaurants for all volunteers to enjoy where volunteers get their commemorative Clean Up t-shirts as a thank you for their participation that day.
Registration is required to participate in the Clean Up and you can sign up online by clicking the below button.
